Beef Lasagne

Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a boil over high heat.

Stir in a few sheets of lasagne at a time. Ensure the sheets don't overcook. Strain and place aside.
250g lasagne sheets -
Melt butter in a pan over medium-low heat.
3 tbsp butter -
Whisk in the flour and stir until the mixture becomes paste-like and light golden brown.
3 tbsp flour -
Gradually whisk half of the milk into the flour mixture and allow it to bubble over medium heat.
2 cups slightly warmed milk -
Cook and stir until the mixture is thick and smooth.

Remove from heat and stir in the remaining milk and cup of cheese.
1 cup grated cheddar cheese -
In a pan, heat oil and add onion and garlic. Cook until soft.
2 tbsp cooking oil, 1 chopped onion, 2 tbsp chopped fresh garlic -
Stir in the mince and season with spices.
800g beef mince, 1 tbsp Amapelepele Curry Supreme, Amapelepele Spice-O-Seasoning to taste

Cook until mince is ready. Place aside.

Spread a thin layer of white sauce onto the base of a prepared baking dish, followed by a layer of lasagne sheets, mince, and cheese.

Repeat the layering process, finishing with the remaining white sauce on top.

Sprinkle the rest of the cheese over it.

Cover lasagne with foil. Bake for 30 - 35 minutes.

Change the oven to grill and allow the lasagne to brown for 2-3 minutes, uncovered.
