Spiced Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
  • 3 large potatoes (peeled and chopped)
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter (with extra for topping)
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • ½ tsp Amapelepele Paprika Powder
  • ¼ tsp Amapelepele Cumin Powder
  • ¼ tsp Amapelepele Cayenne Pepper
  • ¼ tsp Amapelepele Black Pepper
Instructions

    Boil the potatoes in a large pot of water and add salt.3 peeled and chopped large potatoes, 1 tbsp salt

    Once tender, drain and return to the hot pot on the stove.

    Over very low heat mash the potatoes.

    Add in milk, very slowly, as you mash.¼ cup milk

    Stir in the butter and all the spices.

    2 tbsp butter, ½ tsp Amapelepele Paprika Powder, ¼ tsp Amapelepele Jeera Powder / Cumin, ¼ tsp Amapelepele Cayenne Pepper, ¼ tsp Amapelepele Black Pepper

    Top with a little butter and a sprinkling of paprika.
