Ingredients
  • 1 big onion (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1½ tbsp flour
  • 1¼ cup boiling water
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ tsp Amapelepele Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Amapelepele BBQ Spice

    Cook onion in oil and butter over moderately high heat, stirring frequently, until onion is softened and browned.1 tbsp cooking oil, 1 tbsp unsalted butter, 1 sliced big onion

    Add flour and cook, stirring for 1 minute.1½ tbsp flour

    Stir in water, Worcestershire sauce, BBQ Spice and pepper and simmer, stirring and scraping up brown bits, until gravy is slightly thickened (8-10 minutes).1¼ cups boiling water, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp Amapelepele BBQ Spice, ¼ tsp Amapelepele Black Pepper
