Ingredients
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ small head green cabbage (very thinly sliced)
  • ½ small head red cabbage (very thinly sliced)
  • 1 small carrot (grated)
  • pinch salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 800 g beef mince
  • 2 tsp Amapelepele Steak and Chops
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 8 slices cheese
  • 4 soft buns (split & toasted)
  • 4 bacon slices (cooked)
  • ½ cup prego sauce (for serving)
Instructions

    Combine mayonnaise, cabbages, and carrot and toss to coat; season with salt and pepper and set aside.1 cup mayonnaise, ½ very thinly sliced small head green cabbage, ½ very thinly sliced small head red cabbage, 1 grated small carrot, pinch of salt and pepper

    Form meat into four thick patties. Season generously with spice.800g beef mince, 2 tsp Amapelepele Steak and Chops spice

    Place a large pan over medium-high heat, then heat oil in the pan until smoking.2 tbsp cooking oil

    Cook burgers until a deep brown crust has formed, about 2 minutes per side.

    Add water to the pan and immediately cover.2 tbsp water

    Cook to medium-well, about 2 minutes more.

    Slather on your prego sauce.½ cup prego sauce

    Top it with your cheese, bacon, burger patty and coleslaw.sliced cheese, bacon slices, coleslaw
