Ingredients
  • 2 garlic cloves (crushed)
  • 2 tbsp Amapelepele Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Amapelepele Turmeric Powder
  • 850 g chicken fillets (cut into pieces)
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 onion (diced)
  • ¼ cup tomato puree
  • 2 cup fresh cream
  • ½ cup fruit chutney
  • salt & pepper (to taste)
Instructions

    Heat oil and butter in a pan over medium-high heat.1 tbsp cooking oil, 20g butter

    Add onion, turmeric, garlic and paprika.

    Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened.

    Add chicken to pan, then cook for 5 minutes.850g chicken fillets, cut into pieces

    Add tomato puree, fruit chutney, salt and pepper. Cover.¼ cup tomato puree, ½ cup fruit chutney

    Reduce heat to low. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or until chicken is tender and mixture has thickened slightly.

    Stir in cream.2 cups fresh cream

    Simmer for a further 5 minutes or until heated through.

    Serve.
