Tasty Samp & Beans with Beef & Veggies


  • 1 cup samp
  • 1 cup beans
  • 8 cups hot water
    (Mix and soak in hot water over night)
  • 4 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Crushed ginger and garlic
  • 1 tablespoon AMAPELEPELE curry Supreme
  • 1 tablespoon AMAPELEPELE beef stock
  • 300g stewing beef, cubed
  • 1 cup water
  • 500g frozen Mixed vegetables
  • 6 tablespoon AMAPELEPELE Meaty Veg Soup
  • 3 cups water


In a large pot, boil the samp and beans in the water until soft and set aside
Heat the oil in a separate pot
Add the onion and the ginger and garlic, gently fry
Add the AMAPELEPELE curry powder Supreme and the AMAPELEPELE beef stock
Add the stewing beef and the water
Add the water and allow to simmer for 15 minutes or until meat is tender
Add the mixed vegetables and simmer for 2 minutes
Add the beef mixture in the samp pot, stir the mixture with the samp well and allow to simmer for 5 Minutes
To thicken stir in the AMAPELEPELE Meaty Veg Soup and allow to simmer for 3- 5minutes

Serves 6 – 8
